Welcome to my world, “Combing through Beauty”. The beauty professional’s version of Candy Land. Where no matter your taste, there is a little something for everyone. 

Birthed out of my love for this wonderful industry, my peers and all of our tools, equipment and products, I’ve acquired a heightened sense of curiosity for the “what’s new, “how they work”, “how well they work” and absolutely love providing insight and recommendations for them as well. Yes, I absolutely love adding my two cents and then some. Look out world, Lila Marie has arrived! 

With over 20 years behind the chair, and with just two (2) days after graduating cosmetology school, I began my journey at Salon Surreal, in Phoenix, AZ, a large, loud, and lively salon. It was exactly what I wanted and fit me and my personality perfectly.

I was a sponge, absorbing everything they put out as well as everything and everyone I met. Having the opportunity to watch other stylists and being totally open to learning from them, totally helped me become the stylist that I am today. I am grateful!

I have studied brands like Redken, R+Co, Pureology, Moroccan Oil, Brazilian Blowout just to name a few. I have attended classes at Bumble and Bumble in New York and have had the opportunity to throw my shears and blow dryer in the ring as a brand educator for Prive. 

In my many years of weekly beauty supply shopping, I too have walked up and down those aisles, searching for new and exciting tools. Like many of you, I have tried hundreds of products and tools. Some I have loved, some not so much! Now, I want to share those finds with you and also do some of the investigating and “try before you buy” work for you. 

There are no visitors here, consider yourself part of the community, part of the family. Here, stylists and clients can stop by and learn about new products, product lines and tools. A “learn before you buy” experience brought to you by a highly trained and expert industry professional. Trust me, you will get the “real” here. I’ll be able to share with you exactly who the products and tools will work best for and if you are an industry professional also share tips on how to use them to grow your business and market your services. How will I do this? Each month, I will be purchasing a new product line or contacting a brand to see what’s new or coming down the pipeline to use on myself. I will then share my experience through my blog and my LIVE broadcast about my experience. I will also be gifting and running contests for you to have a chance to get your hands on these products and tools. 

There’s going to be a little something for everyone. My goal is to help you find products and tools that will enhance your daily experience and dollars behind the chair! If you are a client, then we definitely want you to know what to ask your stylist for.
